NYX MATTE LIPSTICK

Here we go again I’m trying to make an excuse about why I had to buy NYX matte lipstick…. So guess what I’m not going too, I’m just going to tell you how much I like it lmao., (yea that’s better).  As you see I said Matte Lipstick correct? …… I’m going to make believe I can hear you guys saying “yes”.  Well guess what it says it is but it doesn’t feel like it is. When I hear Matte lipstick I think drying, and uncomfortable to wear, must completely remove before reapplying, but the NYX Matte lipstick is not. It has a semi-matte affect not completely matte (well atleast that’s how I feel) but with a moisturizing feeling. I honestly can’t tell you how long it last on my lips because I wasn’t paying that much attention to it seeming that I was boomed at work with things to do, but I can tell you that I put the lipstick on around 7:00am  and I reapplied the lipstick on my lunch break at 12:00pm. I did notice that before reapplying the lipstick my lips had a red tint to them which was cool, Somewhat as if I had a lip stain on.  The lipstick is very pigmented, so pigmented that can you can’t notice your lip lines under your lipstick, as with some lipstick you have to apply more than once so your lip lines don’t peek through. It has somewhat of a berry scent to it but nothing over powering. I only time I notice the scent was when I first put the lipstick on, it does linger on your lips the rest of the day. The packaging is black with a cool clear middle part to it, allowing you to see the lipstick color inside the tube. I ordered mine from  http://www.cherryculture.com/ I paid $4.99 not bad I say.

WHO LET THE NERD OUT!

It all started on Wednesday afternoon……… after work  a coworker and I decided to go into the city for some much needed shopping therapy.  So what better to do then to put to use my 40% off American eagle coupon from my AE rewards point that I received.  That day I picked up many things, basics, jeans, tops, accessories, blah blah blah lol. But from all the items I got I fell in love with these nerd icon reader glasses. They were $15.50 and with my 40% off they came out to $9.30 a total steal how can I pass these by! (Note to self you have a shopping obsession) lmao. The crazy part was that when I found the glasses they were in the women’s department but if you go to their web-site they are under the men’s accessories, whatever I still love them! I have them on today at work with NYX Matte lipstick in the color Bloody Mary. I know I know I’m working but hey its dress down Friday why not!

Don’t get scared now lol............. I’m having one of those days it’s raining cats, dogs, pigs, frogs, rats, you name it so with that being said my hair is having a bad day also lmao. So I put the hood on from my sweater not to scare your eyes so much lmao. But either way I just wanted to show you the nerd glasses don’t you love!!!!

Clear Cube Makeup Storage

 

Ok so let’s get started …..as you can see this is my first blog post, So I guess I should begin with MUJI’s Acrylic Case 5 drawers. First let me start by saying that no! this is not as big as the kardashian clear makeup storage but if you have $300.00 to $500.00 dollars to spare then hey go ahead lol, but unlike ME I don’t have $300.00 to $500.00 dollars to spend so guess what MUJI is doing a great job at just $23.95 a pop, its size is 10.2 x 6.9 x 6.3". I have to update a picture of this acrylic 5 draw case because I have filled then up with all my lipsticks, glosses, blush, etc. as you see in the picture I was just testing it out and place whatever lippy I found near me inside. So far I have 4 in different sizes, the 5 draw, 2 draw and 3 draw case. When I last checked Muji online store all acrylic cases were sold out but call their stores and see if they have more in stock. The store information would be found in their web site. As for where I got mine I went to their store in the city and picked them up.

This is the 2 draw case it cost $21.95 and its size is 10"w x 6.6"d x 3.7"h. I find this one better for blushes, I don’t know if it’s just me but things fit better in this one.

This is the same as the 2 draw but just with a top lid, same size same amount of draws. The difference is the lid and the price which is$22.75. I think I like it with the lid …… don’t ask me why lol.

This one is the 3 draw case, size 10.2 x 6.9 x 3.9 " and the price is $20.75.

My final thought on these cases are amazing totally ln love! Lol.  I will try my hardest to post pictures of how mine look full with all my beauty products inside its just at this moment I’m reorganizing all my makeup.
